Keith & Amanda

Ever wander around the back country roads, following a twist here, a turn there, a gravel road that disappears into the woods and suddenly opens onto a beautiful, scenic lake? That place is where Keith & Amanda exchanged their wedding vows on June 9th, 2007.

If I had to describe Keith & Amanda's relationship, I could do so with one word - Holy. Let me define that for those of you who may not follow; to be holy is to be set apart, reserved for something special. Keith & Amanda were specifically set apart and reserved for each other.

Two things about their wedding really impressed me - one, they had reserved themselves for this moment, going so far as to not even kiss for the last seven months before their wedding - and two, instead of lighting a unity candle during their ceremony, they performed a foot-washing ceremony for each other. A powerful symbol of servanthood to each other, of putting the needs of the other ahead of their own. This is a lesson we all need to learn.

Congratulations to Keith & Amanda!

Here I've posted a preview of things to come. You can click on this preview and it will get larger for a better view! Visit the online viewing section of my website on Monday, June 25th to see all the photographs online!
